Flawless season

The Oakdale 7th grade football team finished the 2013 regular season undefeated with a total of 10 wins. During the 10-win streak, the Titans, led by head coach Jerry Schwalbach, had a total score of 307 to their opponents’ 56.

Raiders, Irish put on a show

For those who preach that high school sports are a more pure form of athletic competition, the state semifinal football game between Roseville Area High School and Rosemount High School last Thursday at the Metrodome was a perfect example for that argument. Two groups of players giving it their all for their teams and their schools put on quite a show.
