NEWSBRIEF: South St. Paul Public Schools seeks district representative on Central Square Community Center Advisory Board

South St. Paul Public Schools is accepting applications for community members interested in serving as a school district representative on the Central Square Community Center (CSCC) Advisory Board.  The position is a three-year term beginning in November of 2019.  The board normally meets on the third Thursday in January, March, May, August and November.

The CSCC Advisory Board is a joint effort between South St. Paul Public Schools and the City of South St. Paul.  The CSCC Advisory Board has the authority and obligation to manage and operate Central Square educational and recreational activities.  The board establishes, implements, and enforces policies regarding the use of Central Square, including space, equipment and facilities. The board recommends an annual budget and a capital improvement list.  The capital improvement list helps guide the ongoing development of the CSCC facility.
