Maplewood

Theft from vehicle

A tire was stolen from a vehicle in the 2000 block of Larpenteur Avenue East. The theft was reported on Aug. 12 around 9:30 a.m.

 

Fraud

A counterfeit $100 bill was used in the 2000 block of White Bear Avenue North on Aug 12. The forgery was reported just after 2 p.m. 

 

Stolen vehicle found

A stolen vehicle occupied by people was found at the intersection of Ripley Avenue East and Phalen Place North. Several people fled the scene and the vehicle was identified. The incident was reported around 6:45 p.m. on Aug. 13.

 

Vacuum theft

A known suspect damaged the lock to an outdoor pay vacuum and stole the change inside. The theft was reported on Aug. 14 around 9:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of Cope Avenue East. 

 

Stolen package

Someone reported a stolen package in the 1000 block of Sterling Street North on Aug. 15 around 2:30 p.m.

 

Animal complaint

A neighbor notified police of a dog running up and down Junction Avenue East at English Street that was barking at his children. Police say this is an ongoing issue. The call came in just after 6 p.m. on Aug. 15.

 

Found purse

A woman put her purse on the roof of her vehicle and subsequently lost it in the 1000 block of Myrtle Street North. The purse was found on the roadside and was returned to its owner on Aug. 17 around 2:30 p.m.

North St. Paul

 

Burglary

Officers responded to a report of a burglary in the 2000 block of 17th Avenue on Aug. 12. The burglary was reported around 1:30 a.m.

 

Property damage

A tractor trailer door was damaged near the intersection of North St. Paul Drive and Third Street on Aug. 12 around 8 a.m. There are no suspects.

 

Weapon complaint

A 31-year-old man was booked for possession of a revolver on Aug. 12. Officers responded to the incident around 5:30 p.m. on Ariel Street.

 

Graffiti

Officers found graffiti on a storage unit near the McKnight baseball fields, located at 2300 10th Ave. It was reported on Aug. 15 just after 8 a.m.

 

Loud noise

Officers responded to a suspicious activity call in the 2000 block of First Avenue on Aug. 15 at 6 p.m. A construction vehicle had blown a tire, causing a loud bang.

 

 

Lake Elmo

Car break-in

On Aug. 11 around 9:30 p.m. a theft from a motor vehicle was reported. The theft occurred in the 2000 block of Keats Avenue North.

 

Mail theft

On Aug. 12 around 1:30 p.m. mail theft was reported in the 7000 block of 50th Street North.

 

Shooting complaint

Reports of shots fired came in from the 9000 block of 60th Street North around 5 p.m. on Aug. 12. 

 

Suspicious activities

A suspicious person was reported in the 4000 block of Kindred Way around 9:40 a.m. on Aug. 13. Another was reported later that day around 5:20 p.m. 

 

Scam reports

Fraud was reported in the 5000 block of Highlands Trail North around 11 a.m. on Aug. 13. A similar incident was reported in the 10000 block of Third Street Place North just before 3:30 p.m. the same day.

 

Burglary

On Aug. 13 just before 4 p.m. officials responded to a burglary report in the 5000 block of Keats Avenue North. 

 

Theft

On Aug. 14 around 2:30 p.m. a theft was reported in the 11000 block of Stillwater Boulevard North.

 

Car break-in

Theft from a motor vehicle was reported in the 1000 block of Keats Avenue North just before 2 p.m. on Aug. 15. 

 

Theft

A theft was reported in the 9000 block of Hudson Boulevard North around 1:15 p.m. on Aug. 16.

 

Gas drive-off

Gasoline was stolen around 5 p.m. in the 9000 block of Hudson Boulevard North on Aug. 16.

 

Animal bite

On Aug. 16 just before 6:30 p.m. an animal bite was reported in the Cimarron neighborhood.

 

Motor vehicle theft

A car was stolen in the 8000 block of 39th Street North on Aug. 17. The theft was reported around 6:30 p.m.
