Inquiring Minds: Most-frequently requested novels

Q. What are the top five fiction books checked out of the library recently?

A. In terms of popularity and as of this writing, local author William Kent Krueger, leads the list. Here are the five top most-frequently requested novels at the Library as of early fall:

• “Sulfur Springs”: a novel by William Kent Krueger

• “Camino Island”: a novel by John Grisham

• “Into the Water”: a novel by Paula Hawkins

• “Y is for Yesterday” by Sue Grafton

• “A Gentleman in Moscow” by Amor Towles

All of these books fall in the mystery/thriller category with the exception of “A Gentleman in Moscow,” which is an old-fashioned story of a man and his beloved daughter who spend nearly a lifetime hiding from the Russian Revolution in a luxury hotel in Moscow.
