Commemorating fallen Mendota Heights Police Officer Scott Patrick on the one-year anniversary of his death, friends, family, law enforcement, elected officials and community members gathered at 1010 Dodd Road in West St. Paul Thursday afternoon to unveil a new memorial sign.
The West St. Paul Police Department is hosting a program called LEO the Lion, which is a school supply drive, collecting a long list of items including notebooks, writing and coloring utensils, erasers, scissors, glue, Ziplock bags, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, facial tissue boxes, headphones and earbuds and more to fill backpacks for students who could use some extra help in attaining these items.
