Dodge Nature Center moves pines to help with prairie restoration
Roughly four weeks ago, the process of transplanting trees from the Rachel C. Lilly Preserve in Mendota Heights to Dodge Nature Center in West St. Paul began.
On a frigid Saturday, Jan. 9, the last of four large, native red pines were trucked to their new home at the nature center.
