Falcon Heights embraces growing Little Free Library trend

Little Free Libraries are popping up all over the Twin Cities, and Falcon Heights residents and city officials are welcoming its "take a book, return a book" philosophy whole-heartedly.

Little Canada chiropractor pleads guilty to raping patient

Paul David Thompson, 54, of Vadnais Heights recently pleaded guilty to a criminal sexual conduct charge filed in May in Ramsey County District Court. County prosecutors stated Thompson raped a female client during an appointment in May at his Little Canada clinic, Thompson Chiropractic on Little Canada Road.

Roseville talks 2015 budget

At its Aug. 11 meeting, the Roseville City council held a public hearing on the proposed budget for next year. The proposed 2015 budget, recommended by city manager Pat Trudgeon, calls for a 4.9 percent levy increase, or $890,829 across the city.
