Did everybody decide to stop by your place after the holiday lights tour? Here’s a quick way to set out snacks, with most the ingredients ready at hand.
1 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup sour cream
1 Tablespoon mayonnaise
1 avocado, peeled and pitted
1/2 cup fine chopped onion
pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander or to taste
pinch of cayenne pepper
pinch of paprika
1/2 cup shredded pepper jack cheese (or choose your favorite)
Chopped bell peppers from a jar or red onions or scallions for garnish (optional)
Mix together all the ingredients except shredded cheese with electric hand mixer or blender. Fold in cheese and put into serving bowl. Garnish as desired.
