Nancy Her Yang, a 45-year-old mother of two, died when her Woodbury home caught fire early on Sept. 30. Her husband, Chao Yang and daughter, Holly, sustained critical injuries that ultimately led to their subsequent death on Oct. 1.

‘Oaks’ construction gets underway



Initial grading work started this month on the Oaks Business Center site at Interstates 94 and 694. Agreements to purchase two properties were reached in recent weeks, giving the project a green light and ending eminent domain proceedings that started in May.
