These are the abridged minutes from the School Board meeting held on August 21, 2018, which were approved at the September 11, 2018, School Board meeting. 

The regular meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. 

Board Members present: Anderson, Azer, Boguszewski, Gogins, Johnson, Shaw

1. Reed Hornung was introduced as the new activities director. 

2. An update on the facilities planning process was provided. 

3. Information about a potential project labor agreement with the Saint Paul Building and Construction Trades Council was presented.

The consent agenda including the minutes of the regular school board meeting on June 26, 2018; payment of bills; resignations, appointments, reductions, adjustments; gifts; Minnesota State High School League membership resolution; Teachers On Call contract; milk bids; Little Canada Elementary construction bids; Roseville Area High School construction bid package #1; and American Security contract was approved. 

2. The superintendent and director of business services were authorized to contract for construction change orders not to exceed $50,000. 

3. Policy 416 and 506: Harassment and Violence Prevention Policy: Grievance Procedures were approved. 

4. Policy 508: Bullying Prohibition was approved. 

5. The Ramsey County Children’s Mental Health Collaborative joint powers agreement was approved. 

6. A motion to enter into a closed session immediately following the regular meeting for the purpose of evaluating Superintendent Aldo Sicoli was approved.
