2. ZONING CODE TEXT AMENDMENT: The Planning Commission will be considering a zoning text amendment that would add two new zoning districts to the Lake Elmo Zoning Code. They are proposed as Mixed Use Commercial (MU-C) and Mixed Use Business Park (MU-BP). Each proposed zoning district would allow for a mix of land uses including residential, commercial and in some cases, light industrial. They City is preparing these two new zoning districts as part of the implementation of the City’s 2040 Comprehensive Plan.
