Oakdale Police Reports


ARRESTS

— A 23-year-old man was arrested at 1:10 a.m. June 7 on the 4300 block of Geneva Avenue for third-degree driving under the influence of alcohol.
— A 41-year-old woman was arrested at 2:25 a.m. June 5 on the 3500 block of Geneva Avenue for fourth-degree driving under the influence of alcohol.
— A 42-year-old man was arrested at 1:30 p.m. June 3 at Upper 51st Street and Glenbrook for driving after his license had been suspended.
— A 22-year-old man was arrested at 5:17 a.m. June 1 outside AmericInn for driving after his license had been revoked.

BURGLARIES
— Two laptop computers and computer accessories were stolen from Glenbrook Lumber between 5:45 p.m. June 7 and 6:15 a.m. June 8.
— A safe was stolen from the Family Dollar Store overnight June 6-7. According to the police report, the suspect smashed in a wall between the store’s office and an adjoining building currently under construction.
— Morphine was stolen from Ramsey Pharmacy at approximately 11:30 p.m. June 3. One of the pharmacy’s windows was broken out to gain entry.
— Burglars broke out a window on a home on the 6400 block of Lower 57th Street overnight May 30-31 and placed numerous hand tools and power tools into buckets, but did not take them. What the suspects did take were Totino’s Frozen Pizzas.
The next day, the intruders apparently returned and this time gained entry to the home by kicking in the front door.

THEFTS
— A 1997 Dodge Neon was stolen from the 4000 block of Geneva Avenue between 6:30 and 9:10 p.m. June 8.
— A purse was stolen from a shopping cart at Rainbow Foods at approximately 11 a.m. June 6.
— A CD player was taken from a vehicle parked on the 7900 block of 17th Street between 7 p.m. June 5 and 7 a.m. June 6.
— Softball equipment, fishing items and a briefcase were stolen from a vehicle parked in an underground garage on the 1500 block of Granada Avenue overnight June 4-5.
— A set of golf clubs, a CD player and several CDs were taken from a vehicle parked on the 1500 block of Granada Avenue overnight June 4-5.
— A CD player was stolen from a vehicle parked on the 1500 block of Granada Avenue overnight June 4-5.
— A stereo was stolen from a vehicle parked on the 4000 block of Gershwin Avenue prior to June 3. One of the vehicle’s windows was broken out to gain entry.
— A CD player was taken from a vehicle parked on the 6200 block of 40th Street overnight May 28-29. One of the vehicle’s windows was broken out to gain entry.

VANDALISM

— Nine evergreen trees were set on fire in front of a home on the 2300 block of Granada Avenue between 4 and 5 a.m. June 7. A boy was seen fleeing the scene shortly after the incident.
— Paintballs were shot at two vehicles and a house on the 2700 block of Granada Avenue at 10:30 p.m. June 3.
— A window was broken out on a vehicle parked on the 4000 block of Gershwin Avenue overnight June 2-3.
