Arrests

— A 16-year-old boy was arrested April 24 at Source Comics and Games, 1601 Larpenteur Ave., for pilfering merchandise valued at $4. The youth was petitioned into Ramsey County Juvenile Court and released to the custody of his uncle.

— Driving with no license and insurance to match resulted in two citations and an impounded vehicle April 25 for a 20-year-old woman at Larpenteur Avenue and Coffman Street.

— A clerk at J’s Liquor, 1559 Larpenteur Ave., saw a man conceal a bottle of gin under his coat and walk out of the store April 25. The employee began to give chase, remembered he was working alone and could not leave the store unattended, and called 911. The suspect was located walking down Snelling Avenue, with the gin still under his coat, and arrested on a misdemeanor theft charge.

— Police stopped a 30-year-old man at Larpenteur and St. Mary’s avenues on April 26 for driving with an illegal window tint, and arrested him for no Minnesota driver’s license, no insurance and the equipment violation. His vehicle was impounded.

— Officers stopped a 25-year-old St. Paul man April 30 at Snelling and Garden avenues for running a red light, and arrested him for fourth-degree DWI. The man’s blood-alcohol level was tested at .13 percent and he was booked at the Ramsey County Jail.
