Business classes offered at R.H. Stafford Library

A series of free business start-up classes are scheduled at the R.H. Stafford branch of the Washington County Library.

The classes include:

• How to Write a Business Plan, 10 a.m. March 10. This course includes tips on how to design the plan that will secure funding and provide a roadmap to a new business' first year.

• How to Finance Your Business, 10 a.m. March 17. Information on potential investors for a new business, featuring multiple local funding resources, will be presented.

• Creative Marketing Techniques, 10 a.m. March 24. Learn how to create buzz locally and online for your business.

• LinkedIn Brand Building,10 a.m. March 31. Participants will learn to use LinkedIn to brand and expand a business' presence.

Instructors for the classes are from the Neighborhood Development Center and WomenVenture. Registration is required. Participants may sign up online using the Library's Events Calendar at www.co.washington.mn.us/library; in person at the Info Desk; or by telephone at 651-731-1320.The library is located at 8595 Central Park Place in Woodbury. The program will be in Valley Creek Room A.
