Business classes offered at R.H. Stafford Library
A series of free business start-up classes are scheduled at the R.H. Stafford branch of the Washington County Library.
The classes include:
How to Write a Business Plan, 10 a.m. March 10. This course includes tips on how to design the plan that will secure funding and provide a roadmap to a new business' first year.
How to Finance Your Business, 10 a.m. March 17. Information on potential investors for a new business, featuring multiple local funding resources, will be presented.
Creative Marketing Techniques, 10 a.m. March 24. Learn how to create buzz locally and online for your business.
LinkedIn Brand Building,10 a.m. March 31. Participants will learn to use LinkedIn to brand and expand a business' presence.
Instructors for the classes are from the Neighborhood Development Center and WomenVenture. Registration is required. Participants may sign up online using the Library's Events Calendar at www.co.washington.mn.us/library; in person at the Info Desk; or by telephone at 651-731-1320.The library is located at 8595 Central Park Place in Woodbury. The program will be in Valley Creek Room A.
