Marshawn Wilson knocks down 30
Behind the hot hand and the 30-point effort of Marshawn Wilson, the Hill-Murray Pioneers held on to gain a hard-fought, 63-60 victory over the visiting St. Paul Academy Spartans.
In the Thursday, Dec. 4 game, the Pioneers owned a 10-point - 58-48 - lead with just under three minutes left in regulation.
Madeline Campbell posts shutout
When the final ice chip fell to the surface Tuesday, Nov. 25 at Tartan Arena, the Tartan High School girls hockey team owned a 3-0 win over the Shakopee Sabers.
The win pushed the Titans’ record to 4-2 overall, and 1-0 in the Metro East Conference.
Wadlington leads North scoring with 21
The their boys basketball home opener, the North High Polars squared off against the Edina Hornets at Hal Norgard Gymnasium in North St. Paul on Saturday, Nov. 29.
Though the Polars never led, they were never really out of it. Every time the Polars rallied to narrow the score, the Hornets would buzz back to a comfortable lead.

The Hill-Murray girls hockey team took home the 2013-14 Class AA State Championship title after a hard-fought game against No. 1-seeded Benilde-St. Margaret’s in February, at the Xcel Energy Center. The Hill-Murray High School Pioneers girls hockey forces finished last season as the Minnesota Class AA state champions with a record of 25-3-1.
