The St. Anthony Village High School football team won just two games in 2013. The 2014 season is only two weeks old, but already the Huskies have matched last year's win total.
St. Anthony will try to surpass last year's win total when it welcomes New Life Academy to Dennison Field on Friday.

Although Irondale High School is now a member of the 14-school Northwest Suburban Conference, the football team still has an out-of-conference game on the schedule this season. That game is Friday against Holy Angels.

Mounds View thunders past White Bear Lake

In the 2013 regular-season meeting between the Mounds View and White Bear Lake football teams, the Bears scored 45 points and snapped a nine-game losing streak to the Mustangs. The 2014 regular-season game between the two squads was last week and Mounds View got its revenge.
