Silverwood Park in St. Anthony, part of the Three Rivers Park District, held its annual Egg Hunt the afternoon of Saturday, March 28. Kids were able to meet the Easter Bunny and exchange the colorful eggs they found for prizes.

Residents in northeastern Mounds View, dogged by highway noise and car emissions emanating from Highway 10 and Interstate 35W, have long clamored for a highway sound wall to be built in the area. Relief may be in sight.

$4.8 million plan goes for water quality and flood mitigation
Plans to drain and dredge the Hansen Park Pond in New Brighton are moving forward, the results of which will create the city's newest island, through improved area water quality and flood mitigation is the aim.

Ramsey County District Court Judge George Stephenson sentenced Lyle "Ty" Hoffman to 25 1/2 years in prison on March 17 for the Aug. 11, 2014, shooting and killing of Kelly L. Phillips at an Arden Hills gas station.
