The Concordia Academy volleyball team finished second at the Class AA state tournament Nov. 12. The team included Rachel Terhaar, Brooke Weichbrodt, Taylor Brunn, Sally Paul, Kira Fallert, Lydia Lecher, Sarah McTaggart, Anika Neuman, Arika Robinson, Erin Fallert and Abby Miggler.
For the second consecutive year, the Concordia Academy volleyball team concluded its season by playing for a state championship.
Hill-Murray and Holy Angels were clearly the top two volleyball teams in Section 4AA and they met the in finals last week. The match went four sets, two of which were close and the other two not so much.
For the seniors on the Roseville Area High School volleyball team, their final trip to the state tournament is later this week. They’ve adopted an underdog mentality heading into the tournament and are ready to let it all hang out.
