Continued improvement is Titans' goal this girls basketball season

The roster for the Tartan High School girls basketball team includes four players who aren't old enough to attend high school. That kind of youth has second-year head coach Tim Obr looking for improvement each and every day.

To some folks the "State of Hockey" in School District 622 is in trouble

In what one might well call a drastic move, Tartan and North high schools' girls hockey teams will combine as one for the 2015-16 season.

Tartan and Hill-Murray drop Metro Red games
The 2015 football season is rapidly drawing to a close as area teams played the seventh of eight regularly scheduled games Friday, Oct. 2.
The North High Polars are having their best season in years as they closed down a tough Hastings team by a score of 34-28.
St. Thomas Academy, meanwhile, outscored the Tartan Titans 39-8, and Hill-Murray lost a 56-44 shootout with the Simley Spartans.
