The volleyball teams from Irondale and Mounds View spent most of the first day of October in a gym competing in tournaments. While they missed out on some spectacular Minnesota fall weather, it was worth it in the end.
The season might be different but the script continues to look the same for the Mounds View High School football team. Through the first five weeks of the season, the Mustangs have matched game-for-game the results of 2015.

After a quick stop at its own field for homecoming last week, the Concordia Academy football team is playing visitor again this week. The Beacons travel to Columbia Heights for their final road game of the regular season.
