Accidental acceleration hits pharmacy, Easter Bunny


The Easter bunny was the only injured party when a car drove into Setzer Pharmacy in Roseville March 21. (Review staff)

Just after 3 p.m. March 21, police received reports a car drove into Setzer Pharmacy, located at 1685 Rice St. in Roseville. No injuries were reported -- save the Easter Bunny -- only damage to the pharmacy.

Roseville officer resigns following 15-day suspension


Former Roseville police officer Justin Gunderson resigned from the department following a 15-day unpaid suspension, stemming from a May 26, 2013, traffic stop. A man involved in the stop sued the city for $500,000, alleging police brutality. Gunderson was named in the suit, which was settled for $60,000. (courtesy of Roseville Police Department)

Punishment followed stop that sparked brutality lawsuit

A Roseville police officer resigned earlier this year following a suspension stemming from his actions during a May 2013 traffic stop.

Officer Justin Gunderson quit the force effective Jan. 19 following a 15-day unpaid suspension, according to Roseville Mayor Dan Roe, who read a brief statement about the matter during a March 14 city council meeting.
