The Ramsey County Fair, which celebrated its 103 year, took place July 13 through July 17. The kickoff of the fair started with the White Bear Avenue parade on July 13.

As residents returned from the holiday weekend, many came home to a doozy of a storm on Tuesday evening, July 5. The National Weather Service had recorded wind gusts up to 75 miles per hour and about 250,000 Xcel Energy customers lost power.
