Tobacco-related sampling continues to be prohibited
The ban on sampling of tobacco-related products like electronic cigarettes will continue in West St. Paul. However, to the gratitude of many, the city council has expanded the hours liquor can be sold at both on- and off-sale establishments in the community.
The council members reviewed West St. Paul’s alcohol and tobacco bylaws at their meeting Monday, June 8, and considered three proposed ordinance changes.

West St. Paul pool opens

The West St. Paul Leisure Pool opened Saturday, June 13. Residents can now swim and cool off during the summer season. The West St. Paul YMCA is contracted by the city to run this facility.

Highway 13 in Mendota Heights and Lilydale closed

Highway 13 between Second Street and Lexington Avenue will be closed through Aug. 22. Drivers are asked to use Highway 110 and I-35E instead.
