Trail lights on for night hiking at Lake Elmo Park Reserve


Trail lights on three routes will turn on at dusk to invite night hikers to the Lake Elmo Park Reserve.

Guests are invited to experience Washington County’s Lake Elmo Park Reserve’s lighted cross-country ski trails for night trail running or hiking. The lights started being used Sept. 2.

Lake Elmo’s Arbor Glen Senior Living breaks ground 


The new 106,654-square-foot senior living community will offer a variety of living solutions for older adults, and will feature community rooms and underground parking in addition to a movie theater, fitness center and hair salon.

Arbor Glen Senior Living, a new $16 million senior living community located in Lake Elmo has broken ground.

Washington County will work with Lake Elmo to create a sidewalk crossing at the railroad tracks on County State Aid Highway 17 as part of the improvement and replacement of the infrastructure in the city’s downtown.
