We bid a fond farewell to Bud Finney, beloved father, “Papa,” friend, master gardener, fisherman, soil scientist, etc. He died of complications, having fallen after a walk on a sunny, Minnesota spring day.

Loving and remarkable lady passed away March 5 at age 98. Preceded in death by her parents, Zuva and Antun Petkovic of Yugoslavia; four siblings; husband Larry Moore and sons John and Tony Gardenal. Survived by daughter, Deanna (Karl) Bakke; sons Steve and Mark Moore; grandchildren Carrie Shuman, Aaron Gardenal, Rachel Stene, Daniel Bakke, Rebecca and Elizabeth Moore and nine great-grandchildren.
Jerry J. Sankot, age 64, of New Brighton, died on March 14, 2015. He was born on September 17, 1950, in Belle Plaine, Iowa, to Frank and Eleanor Sankot. Jerry earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University, as well as associate’s degrees in clock repair and watch repair. He was a licensed professional engineer and a member of the ASQC/ASQ, the Minnesota Clockmakers Guild and the Minnesota NAWCC-OT Lang Chapter. He last worked for EcoWater in Woodbury. Jerry was also a member of the MSUS Church community. He had struggled with his health since a 2003 diagnosis of multiple brain tumors.
