The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s office determined that the man and a woman who were found dead June 1 in a Maplewood motel room both died from ingesting cyanide, according to a Maplewood police press release.
The storm caused flooding and damage across the Twin Cities, including Maplewood where this black locust fell in a resident’s yard.

As residents returned from the holiday weekend, many came home to a doozy of a storm on Tuesday evening, July 5. The National Weather Service had recorded wind gusts up to 75 miles per hour and about 250,000 Xcel Energy customers lost power.
