Letter: Support for Mark Traynor

I spent my entire teaching career of 35 years in the Roseville Area Schools and am very proud to say it! I have always considered our community (I am also a resident) very fortunate to have high quality people on our school board who have vision, fiscal responsibility, the best interests of students at heart and have not pushed personal agendas. This is why I am supporting Mark Traynor for School Board.

Letter: ‘Proven records of service’

Hello friends and neighbors. I am writing to support the candidacies of Kitty Gogins and Mark Traynor for District 623 School Board.
Both Mark and Kitty have proven records of service to Roseville Area Schools. Mark has most recently chaired the Roseville Area Schools Foundation and served 6 years as a board member. Kitty has served 8 years as a District 623 School Board Member and has served as chair 3 years.

Letter: Sports center bid

Ramsey County’s $10.6 million bid for the white elephant Vadnais Heights sports center is a total waste of precious taxpayer dollars. RC citizens of all ages and sports interests have plenty of outlets now; our sports-mad society doesn’t need to take on this loser project.

Letter: Supports ISD 621 levy

Just like thousands of other Roseville parents, a few weeks ago, I sent my daughters off to their first day of school. It’s hard to believe that we have a senior and a sophomore in the house. It seems just yesterday I was putting kindergarteners on the bus!

Letter: Sports Center finances

It is most interesting to note the massive loss the city of Vadnais Heights and all of the investors are going to take in the sale of their large Sports Center when it sells for half of what it cost to finance it.

Letter: Marty reflects

Thank you to residents of Senate District 66 for the opportunity to represent you in the Minnesota Senate! I have appreciated hearing from many of you during the last few months. Although I was disappointed in some of the outcomes, there were many significant gains that will make Minnesota a better state.
