The Rock Island Swing Bridge Trailhead grand opening is set for Thursday, June 18 from 5-8 p.m. Participants are invited to celebrate the opening of the newest addition to the Mississippi River Regional Trail.
During a 60-minute guided tour at the Sibley History Site, 1357 Sibley Memorial Hwy, Mendota, visitors can explore the controversial life and career of Minnesota’s first governor, Henry Hastings Sibley.
Annual craft & bake sale sponsored by the women of Luther Memorial Church. More than 20 experienced vendors and local crafters present their wares. Delicious baked goods including some local ethnic items for sale. Homemade chicken wild rice soup and pie luncheon for sale - 11:00 a.m. until gone. Call church at 651-451-2400 with any questions.
