Parachutists at Veteran’s Park

The skies in North St Paul will be noticeably different this Veterans Day. Parachutists with the colors of Old Glory will descend above the North High soccer field near the new Veteran’s Park located at the corner of 12th Ave.

Washington County Environmental Center will expand hours beginning Nov. 3

Washington County will increase the hours of its Environmental Center in Woodbury, from 17 hours each week to 31 hours Tuesday, Nov. 3.

The center’s new hours will be:

•   11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday;

St. Odilia serves pancake breakfast

The St. Odilia Men's Club will be hosting an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday Nov. 15 in the school gym. Prices are $7 for adults, $5 for ages 5-12 and under 5 is free.

The St. Anthony Civic Orchestra is celebrating 40 years with a concert at the St. Anthony Community Center on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 3 p.m. The orchestra first rehearsed Aug. 12, 1975 and performed its first concert Dec. 4, 1975.
