Buckthorn Brigade 11-08

All you ever wanted to know about buckthorn! If you or your group is interested in controlling buckthorn at home or in Ramsey County parks, this informative hands-on program is for you. Participants will learn why these exotic species are invasive, how to identify common and smooth buckthorn, and how to control and dispose of buckthorn safely. Practice your new skills in the field, then enjoy a hot beverage before you head home!    Ages: 8 and up with an adult

Tech Dump St Paul Ribbon Cutting

Tech Dump, an electronics recycling nonprofit, hosts a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house at their St Paul location (in Midway) on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. Their warehouse at 698 Prior Ave North is their second location, with their first in Golden Valley.  They will host an open house on Tuesday, October 28 from 4-6:30pm, with Mayor Coleman scheduled for the ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30pm.

Harvest Market 10-25

44nd Annual Event on October 25th from 9:30am - 2:00pm   Harvest Market is a church-wide, community-wide event. There will be hand arts and crafts, baked goods, gently used books, jewelry, children's toys, games, and household items (including vintage and antique) for sale throughout the church. Stay for lunch in the Harvest Market Cafe and leave room for a slice of delicious homemade pie.

The Halloween Hoedown will be located at the Maplewood Community Center at 2100 White Bear Avenue, Maplewood, MN on Saturday October 25 from 5-8pm. Event is a fundraiser for the non-profit Maplewood Area Historical Society.
