Licensing information for potential child foster care providers in Washington County

An informational meeting for those interested in foster care in Washington County is 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 1, at the Washington County Government Center in Stillwater, in the lower level, room 16. For those who decide to become licensed to provide foster care, the licensing process begins at no cost to them. People have busy schedules, concerns about compensation and/or the desire to work with a certain age group — that’s why several foster care options are offered.
