Toastmasters International open house

Join Toastmasters International at a free open house April 24 to see how they can help you with your communication and leadership goals. The group meets from noon to 1 p.m. at the Oakdale Library, 1010 Heron Ave. N., and the open house includes prepared speeches, impromptu speeches and a potluck. Oakdale indoor market


On January 21, the Oakdale Indoor Market was held at the Discovery Center, 4444 Hadley Ave. N. A variety of items were for sale including seasoned nuts, strudels, canned goods, candles, crafts, baked goods, sausages, pierogies, coffee, honey and children’s books.
