Benefit concert for Puerto Rico

The Minnesota Music Cafe will host “Blues Aid” on Sunday, Nov. 19 with doors opening at 1 p.m. The event will benefit victims of hurricanes Irma and Maria who live in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

A Turkey Bingo will be held at the Presentation of Mary Church on Saturday, Nov. 18 where participants can try to win their Thanksgiving dinner. Twelve turkey door prizes will be given out throughout the night.

Guided morning bird hikes continue

A rotating schedule of bird hikes will be in Washington County Parks in 2017, with the next one 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at Pine Point Park. Meet at the trailhead kiosk in the main parking lot.
