For those who decide to become licensed to provide foster care, the licensing process begins at no cost to them. People have busy schedules, concerns about compensation and/or the desire to work with a certain age group — that’s why several foster care options are offered.

'Civic Pride' with the NB Historical Society

The New Brighton Area Historical Society’s 37th Annual Meeting will be held Thursday, April 27, at the New Brighton Community Center, 400 10th St. NW, in New Brighton. The Annual Meeting will begin at 1 p.m., with the program beginning at 2 p.m.

The topic of he annual meeting presentation is “Civic Pride” and will feature information about three New Brighton area clubs: the New Brighton Lions, New Brighton-Mounds View Rotary and the New Brighton Sportsmen’s Club.
