County Attorney Pete Orput and Sheriff Bill Huton are running unopposed, while District 2 county commissioner Ted Bearth of Oakdale will face challenger Jeremy Olson of Woodbury.

Meet the local candidates for state representative - 42B, 66A

District 42B encompasses Little Canada, Vadnais Heights, Shoreview and part of Roseville, and is currently represented by Democrat Jason Isaacson, who will face Republican challenger Heidi Gunderson.
District 66A covers most of Roseville, Falcon Heights, Lauderdale and the St. Anthony Park and Como Park neighborhoods of St. Paul. There, incumbent Democrat Alice Hausman will face Republican hopeful Jon Heyer.

Ramsey County Commissioner District 3 candidates talk transit, juvenile corrections

Up for election for spots on the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners are two incumbents and two challengers in District 3.
Candidates were asked questions about county priorities, transit projects including the Rush Line and Gateway Corridor, and about a proposed plan to combine juvenile detention services with Hennepin County.
Ramsey County's third district includes Falcon Heights, the Payne/Phalen neighborhood, North End/South Como, Como Park, Frogtown, Summit-University and Hamline-Midway.
