The Mounds View High School dance team added to the school's list of winter state-tournament entries when it competed in the jazz division state meet on Feb. 13 at Target Center. The Viewettes were one of 12 teams to qualify for the Class AAA state event.

Slow start dooms Mounds View boys hockey

The Mounds View High School boys hockey team played even with perennial power Hill-Murray for two of the three periods in the Section 4AA semifinals last week. The problem was that the Pioneers completely owned the first period, and that was enough.

Registration now open for Irondale Baseball League

Registration is now open for the 2015 baseball season for the Irondale Baseball League. Anyone that attends or lives in the District 621 area is eligible. The league is open to grades 3 through 9.
