The Roseville Area High School boys soccer team went into its Section 6AA quarterfinal on Thursday afternoon looking to prove a point. The game, against Minneapolis Southwest, took place on the Lakers' home field because they were seeded higher by a vote of the section coaches.
As Tuesday's Section 5AA girls soccer playoff match between Irondale and Mounds View progressed into the final minutes of the second half, pressbox staff at Mustang Stadium began reviewing the rules for overtime.
