Kaia Porter continues to put up solid numbers for the Roseville Area High School girls basketball team as she is averaging more than 18 points per game. Last week, she made the first cut for the 2017 Miss Minnesota Basketball award.
After back-to-back single-digit win seasons, the St. Anthony Village High School boys basketball team had a breakout season a year ago as it won 19 games. The Huskies are proving this year that 2015-16 wasn’t a fluke.

Michala Walther is a sophomore guard on the St. Scholastica women’s basketball team and has assumed the role of the team’s leading scorer this year. That’s not much of a surprise considering the season she had last year as a freshman.
Mack Johnson recently etched his name into the record book at the University of Sioux Falls. A senior guard on the USF men’s basketball team, Johnson became the program’s all-time three-point leader earlier this month.
