Gibbs Farm Friday: Schoolhouse

This Friday, go back to 1873! Gibbs Farm's very own Miss Lake be holding lessons in the one-room schoolhouse. Drop in for a 45 minute 'class' at 10, 11, or 12. Experience what school was like for pioneer children in early Minnesota. Gibbs Farm will be open from 10-4 and we will have tours of the historic farmhouse and Dakota seasonal life throughout the day!

All programs and tours are included in admission!

Gibbs Farm Friday: Orchard Day

Come visit Gibbs Farm this Friday, August 4th from 10am-4pm. Our heritage apple orchard will be open to the public! Learn about historic apple varieties from our knowledgeable and dedicated volunteers. There will be an apple craft for children. We will also have tours of the historic Gibbs Farmhouse and of Dakota seasonal life throughout the day. All tours and activities are included in admission. $8 Adults, $7 Seniors $5 Children.

NAMIWalks Minnesota

More than 4,500 people from around the state are expected to join in NAMIWalks Minnesota, a 5K walk to raise awareness about mental illnesses and celebrate hope on Sept. 23 at 1:00 p.m., at Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis. There will be live music, picnics, speakers, resource tables, a kid’s tent, a tree of hope, a t-shirt contest and more.
