‘RONDO: Beyond the Pavement’ screening

St. Paul Almanac and In Black Ink, in partnership with St. Paul Neighborhood Network and High School for Recording Arts, will present a viewing of the Rondo youth-produced film “RONDO: Beyond the Pavement” on Monday, Jan. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Metropolitan Symphony concert

Event Description

“A Dinosaur Extravaganza” is promised for two concerts by the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Church of Saint Matthew, located at 510 Hall Ave. on Saint Paul’s West Side.

Annual appearances by the orchestra have drawn standing-room-only crowds for several years so the orchestra is planning two identical concerts that afternoon, beginning at 2 p.m. and again at 4 p.m.

The Minnesota Waldorf School is holding an all-grades Open House 10 am – 2 pm Saturday, Jan. 12. Tour the beautiful 8-acre campus and inspiring classrooms to see what makes Waldorf Education unique. Visit the Preschool and Kindergarten classrooms 10 -11:30 am. A Group Tour is scheduled 11:30 am – noon. Grades 1-8 classrooms will be open noon – 2 pm.

Roseville High School Presents A Night of One-Acts January 25th through January 27th at RAHS Theater

Event Description

ROSEVILLE, Minn. (January 8, 2018) – RAHS drama students perform two one-act plays starting with Jonathan Rand’s Check Please followed by Greg Allen’s Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind. This is truly bite-sized theatre for busy people. Be sure to join the fun January 25th through January 27th in the RAHS Performing Arts Center.

Program: Women at the Very Heart of the Great War

Event Description

Join us as Ames Sheldon, author of Eleanor's Wars, a work of historical fiction discusses many of the roles American women who went to serve in France played in support of the Great War. Sheldon will share first-hand accounts and talk about her book which tells the story of a woman who drove an ambulance in World War II.
