Oakdale - Lake Elmo Review Police reports September 11th, 2019

Lake Elmo


A DWI was reported in the 8000 block of 26th Street North on Aug. 25. The incident occurred just after 12:45 a.m.



A vehicle accident occurred near the intersection of Manning Avenue North and Hudson Boulevard North on Aug. 25 around 6:30 p.m.


Vehicle tampering

On Aug. 27 around 3:40 p.m., there were reports of a person tampering with vehicles in the 11000 20th Street North.


Suspicious activity 

A suspicious person was reported in the 10000 block of Third Street Place North on Aug. 27 just before 10 p.m. More suspicious activity was reported the following day near the intersection of 10th Street North and Inwood Avenue East just before 9 p.m.



A scam was reported in the 9000 block of Fifth Street Lane North on Aug. 28 at 4:20 p.m.


Missing person

A person was reported as missing in the Cimarron neighborhood on Aug. 28 just before 5 p.m.


Property damage

In the 9000 block of Tapestry Road on Aug. 29, property damage was reported around 7:45 p.m. The following day, there was a separate report of property damage in the 8000 block of Stillwater Boulevard North just after 9:15 p.m. Another damage report came in on Aug. 31 just after 8 p.m. at northbound Inwood Avenue North over Interstate 94.



A trespasser was reported in the 7000 block of Demontreville Trail North on Aug. 30 around 1:45 p.m.


Road hazard

The hazard was reported on eastbound Highway 36 at Keats Avenue North on Aug. 30 around 6:30 p.m.



A dumping complaint was received on Aug. 31 just before 11 a.m. originating at the Manning Avenue North ramp off westbound I-94.


Noise complaint

A disturbance was reported in the 8000 block of Demontreville Trail North. The incident occurred on Aug. 31 around 7:30 p.m.


Animal complaint

On Aug. 31 just before 10:30 p.m., a complaint about an animal came in from the 8000 block of Lake Jane Trail North.



Police made a drug report in the 11000 block of Hudson Boulevard on Aug. 31 just before 11 p.m.


North St. Paul

Open mailboxes

Centralized temporary mailboxes on Margaret Street at 18th Avenue were found open on Aug. 26 around 1 a.m. Neighbors said the boxes were closed around midnight. 


Suspicious activity

A reportedly middle-aged man was looking into house windows in the 2500 block of 18th Avenue on Aug. 27 around 9 a.m. Police could not locate the suspect. 



Illegal burning

People were reportedly burning trash in a backyard in the 1000 block of Skillman Avenue East on Aug. 28. Police responded around 3:45 p.m. and found residents cleaning it up.


Property damage

A Maplewood squad car was involved in a property damage crash on Aug. 28 around 8 a.m. The crash was near Kenwood Drive East.


Recovered vehicle

Officers found a stolen vehicle in the 400 block of McKnight Road South on Aug. 31 just before 4 a.m. The vehicle was impounded.



A group home resident reportedly attacked a staff member in the 300 block of Skillman Avenue East. The resident voluntarily went to St. Joe’s Hospital. The incident occurred on Aug. 25 after 9 a.m.



Officers were dispatched to an underground garage on a report of a burglary in the 2000 block of Edgerton Street North on Aug. 29. Multiple suspects attempted to take items around 5 a.m.


Vehicle theft

A vehicle was reportedly stolen in the 2000 block of Adele Street North around 5 a.m. on Aug. 25. The owner found the vehicle and there are no suspects.



A driver was pulled over for riding the fog line near the intersection of Highway 36 East and Edgerton Street. Officers smelled marijuana in the vehicle. The incident occurred on Aug. 25 around 4 p.m.



A person stole eight vaping items from a store in the 1000 block of Rice Street North. The theft occurred on Aug. 29 around 4:45 p.m.


No insurance

Officers pulled over a vehicle in a traffic stop near the intersection of White Bear Avenue North and Ripley Avenue on Aug. 27 around 4:30 p.m. The driver had no vehicle insurance and was arrested.
