Barbershop concert on Como Lake

North Star Chorus invites you to a performance on beautiful Como Lake on Tuesday, June 11, beginning at 7 p.m. Included in the show will be an old-fashioned parade of quartets. The open-air pavilion is located at 1360 Lexington Parkway N., in St. Paul. Ample parking is available in the area. Bring a friend and enjoy a relaxing evening of barbershop music beside the lake. Donations needed for toddler summer gear 

The Community Action Partnership of Ramsey and Washington Counties is seeking hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, mosquito spray and other items for children ages 5 and under, to help them stay cool and safe this summer. 

Collect or purchase items and help assemble kits for the organization to distribute at its summer programming. Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging seeks volunteers

The Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging recently moved to new offices in Arden Hills. The nonprofit supports older adults and their caregivers with resources and programs for healthy aging. It’s currently looking for volunteers to help with Medicare Counseling programs. Become a State Health Insurance Assistance Program-certified Medicare counselor and help others to understand their options. District 42 town hall meeting

Blood drive in New Brighton

Falcon Heights’ Spring Together

The Falcon Heights Community Engagement Commission and Parks and Recreation Department are holding their annual Spring Together event on Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Curtiss Field, 1551 Iowa Ave. The potluck-style event is an opportunity to meet neighbors and enjoy some food. The city will provide cookies, bottled water, plates and utensils — bring a dish to share. There will be games and activities as well as a bounce house. The event will be held weather permitting. Shoreview Farmers’ Market starts June 11

The Shoreview Farmers’ Market will kick off its season on Tuesday, June 11, from 3 to 7 p.m. in the parking lot of the Shoreview Community Center, 4580 Victoria St. N. The market will take place every Tuesday through mid-October, featuring products from over 30 local vendors, including fresh produce, cheese, artisan bread, maple syrup, gourmet pastries, ice cream and more. Market-goers can also listen to live music and participate in monthly, themed activities.
