Walk for Talk 5K

Roseville based nonprofit Northern Voices is marking Better Hearing and Speech month with its 10th annual Walk for Talk 5K on Saturday, May 11. The family-friendly event takes place at the Jaycees Shelter in Roseville’s Central Park, 2540 Lexington Ave. N., and includes a Kids Flash Dash, a 5K race and a fun run/walk. On-site registration opens at 7:45 a.m., otherwise register at www.northenvoices.org. The event’s net proceeds benefit Northern Voices, which is marking its 20th year of teaching deaf and hard-of-hearing children how to listen and speak.
