Taize Prayer

The event is Friday, March 15, starting at 7 p.m. Taize prayer is a world-wide phenomenon consisting of simple chants based on the scriptures and periods of silence, creating an environment that helps participants encounter the mystery of God. Refreshments served afterwards. 

 

Embracing the Holy Time of Lent,  

The event is Sunday, March 14, starting at 3:30 p.m. and costs $30, which includes a meal.  Participants will find time to step back and remember the presence of God’s Spirit in our lives. This “time of renewal” includes artistic experiences, ritual, and personal contemplation.

 

Tools for Good Works,  

This event is Sunday, March 17, starting at 1 p.m., a freewill offering accepted. Participants will focus on Rule Four of St. Benedict love the Lord and your neighbor which is profoundly simple but also a lifelong challenge. They will look into the wisdom of this Rule and see how it can be applied to their lives in the 21st century.
