Indian Mounds Park meeting

The City of St. Paul is working with community partners to conduct a cultural landscape study to better understand the cultural significance of the Indian Mounds Regional Park and to build common ground for an innovative and inspirational approach toward long-term management and use of the park. It also presents an important opportunity to recognize and support Indigenous community connection to the landscape. As the city works on this year-long study, a series of community engagement events are being held. The next event will take place Thursday, Dec. 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cerenity Senior Care Center in the Parkview Room, 200 Earl St. The event will include a sharing and listening session about the significance of the park and a facilitated discussion about project goals. A light meal will be provided. The event is open to everyone and is free. For more information about the project, go to www.stpaul.gov/IndianMoundsCulturalStudy.
