NEWSBRIEF: Volunteer to count pedestrians and bicyclists

The City of St. Paul is preparing for its annual bicycle and pedestrian counts and needs citizen help. The counts are taking place Tuesday, Sept. 11 through Thursday, Sept. 13. Volunteers will be asked to count people bicycling and walking from 4 to 6 p.m. on one of the count dates.Counting helps city staff understand where and how people are walking and biking around St. Paul, and helps guide investment in infrastructure improvements. If you would like to volunteer for the upcoming September count, please sign up at https://cityofmpls.wufoo.com/forms/w17cn48300oq5b4/ (The signup platform is hosted in partnership with Minneapolis.)
