‘Ask a Refugee’ panel discussion

“Ask a Refugee,” a Tuesday, Sept. 11, panel discussion that begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Roseville Library, will consist of four to five people who have volunteered to share their perspective on what it is like to seek refuge in another country. The main goal of the panel is to educate the audience on what refugee status is, to talk openly about what it feels like to be a refugee, and to teach us more about the countries they come from.

This event is part of the popular “Ask” series, designed to give a voice to the underrepresented in the community. By using personal stories on a diversity of life experiences, the series aims to create dialogue, promote understanding and forge a stronger community. Presented in partnership with Do Good Roseville, the program is funded by the Friends of the Ramsey County Libraries. Admission is free and the program is open to all. The library is located at 2180 Hamline Ave. N. in Roseville.
