Campfire programs continue June 23

Washington County Parks continues its summer campfire programs with programs with the Carpenter Nature Center at Lake Elmo Park Reserve and Leave No Trace at St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park June 23. The programs are free with the park entry fee, which costs $7 daily or $30 annually.

The Carpenter Nature Center will present “Reptiles & Amphibians” at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at Lake Elmo Park Reserve. Lake Elmo Park Reserve is at the intersection of County Road 19 and County Road 10, one mile north of Interstate 94 in Lake Elmo. The program will be in the campground amphitheater. Leave No Trace will present a Washington County Parks program on “Camping Hack: Trash Your Trash” at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park. St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park is along the St. Croix River on County Road 21, between County Road 76 and County Road 78, in Denmark Township.
