St. Paul Hiking Club - April, 2018

The St. Paul Hiking Club announces these April hikes: 

Note: Tuesday hikes switch to 7:30 p.m. 

• Sunday, April 1 – There will be no hike due to Easter Sunday. 

• Tuesday, April 3 – 7:30 p.m. Meet at Davanni’s, 41 Cleveland Ave. S., for a neighborhood hike. Treats: Davanni’s.

• Sunday, April 8 – 2:30 p.m. Meet at the Long Lake Regional Trail Park Pavilion, 1500 Old Highway 8 in New Brighton. You’ll walk the Rice Creek North Regional Trail in Long Lake Regional Park, along County Rd. H, rejoining the Rice Creek North Trail on the east side of 35W. You will then walk to County Road I and return to Long Lake Regional Park.

• Tuesday, April 10 – 7:30 p.m. Meet at Baker’s Square, 2239 Ford Pkwy, in the Highland Park area of St. Paul for a neighborhood hike.

• Sunday, April 15 – 2:30 p.m. Meet in the parking lot of Cub Foods, 1059 Meadowlands Dr., in White Bear Lake, off  Hwy 96 and Centerville Rd, west of Hwy 35E. You’ll hike around Birch Lake and residential areas.

• Tuesday, April 17 – 7:30 p.m. Meet in the Rice Creek North parking lot on County Road I at 35W. There is no address. You’ll be hiking the Rice Creek North Arsenal Trail.

• Sunday, April 22  – 2:30 p.m. Meet at the Village Sports Bar, 3600 Hoffman Road in White Bear Lake. Park in the lot on the west side, across the street from the Village Sports Bar. The hike will be residential, woods and paved path.

• Tuesday, April 24 – 7:30 p.m. Meet at the Edgcumbe Recreation Center, 320 Griggs St. S., in St. Paul for a residential walk. 

• Sunday, April 29 – 2:30 p.m. Meet in the parking lot of Carmine’s Restaurant, 9900 Valley Creek Road, in Woodbury. You’ll hike paved trails by lakes in the area. Treats: Carmine’s
