Tax filing Clinic at Karen Organization of Minnesota

The Karen Organization of Minnesota will hold their last, free tax filing clinic on Thursday, March 15 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at their office, located at 2353 Rice St., Suite 240 in Roseville. Visitors need to bring their social security card, a photo ID, all 2017 W-2s and the maximum income level cannot exceed $55,000. For more information contact Par Yei Say at 651-202-3113.

 

Free, walk-in dental care

Hope Dental Clinic, located in Dayton’s Bluff at 800 Minnehaha Ave. E, Suite 465 will host St. Paul Dental Connect for a free, two-day dental care clinic. Anyone of any age can stop by during March 16-17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for cleanings, exams, fillings, extractions and other services. Community forum for the ‘greenhouse’

Metropolitan State University is planning to rebuild the greenhouse located at 445 Maria Ave., near First Lutheran Church in Dayton’s Bluff this year. Metropolitan State University, Urban Roots and Friends of Swede Hollow will host a community forum about the GROW-IT Center project on Tuesday, March 13, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the university’s student center, 690 East Seventh St., Room 101. The forum will include discussion about the design plans and a timeline for construction. Visitors will also be asked to share their goals, vision, and potential uses for the GROW-IT Center project.
