Girl Scout cookies at Roseville Goodwills

Snacking aficionados know that spring is cookie season. This year, Goodwill is partnering with Girl Scouts to bring cookie booths to its Roseville stores on Saturdays through March 17. When Goodwill hosts local nonprofits on site, it lets the store’s community-minded shoppers and donors do more good for more people. The Roseville Goodwill stores are located at 1627 County Road B and 2500 Cleveland Ave.


St. Anthony Library author talk

St. Anthony Library will host speaker Kao Kalia Yang on Monday, Feb. 26 starting at 6:30 p.m. A 2017 Minnesota Book Award winner, Yang will discuss her book, a memoir of her Hmong song poet father, “The Song Poet.” The St. Anthony Library is located at 2941 Pentagon Dr. NE in St. Anthony. Lowry Grove development public hearing

A public hearing on the The Village, LLC’s redevelopment proposal for the former Lowry Grove site will be held during the Planning Commission meeting at St. Anthony City Hall on Monday, Feb. 26, starting at 7 p.m. City Hall is located at 3301 Silver Lake Road NE in St. Anthony. Do Good Roseville’s “What Would You Do” program

Do Good Roseville will host the “What Would You Do” program at the Roseville Library on Wednesday, Feb. 28, starting at 6:30 p.m. The “What Would You Do” program gives people the opportunity to practice skills to handle scenarios of racial discrimination without judgement. New Brighton Eagles Lent fish fry dinners

The New Brighton Eagles will host fish fry dinners at The Eagles Club each Friday of Lent, now through March 30, starting at 5:30 p.m. The meal includes all-you-can-eat fish, a baked potato or hashbrowns, coleslaw and bread. St. Odilia Men’s Club fish fry

St. Odilia Men’s Club will host fish fry dinners on Feb. 23 and March 9 starting at 5 p.m. The dinner includes fish, mac and cheese, cheese potatoes, vegetables, coleslaw, dessert and a beverage. Tickets cost $11 for those 13 and older and $7 for ages 5-12. People younger than 5 eat free. All proceeds support youth and athletic programs.
