Republican caucus Feb. 6

The Minnesota Republican 2018 caucus will be Feb. 6 and is free to attend. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with caucus beginning at 7 p.m. and running until 9 p.m. One caucus location within Senate District 53/House Districe 53A will be Woodbury Middle School, 1425 School Dr., Woodbury. To find out if this is your caucus location, visit www.caucusfinder.sos.state.mn.us.


DFL precinct caucus finder 

The Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party’s precinct caucus location finder is now live. The tool allows DFLers to enter their address and find the information they need to attend their local precinct caucus. Visit www.dfl.civicengine.com to use the precinct caucus location finder. 

DFLers can use the tool to:

• Find the location of their local precinct caucus.

• Make a plan to caucus, including finding directions to their caucus location and opting for text or email reminders.

• See the gubernatorial candidates who they can vote for in a preference ballot.

• Find contact information for their local unit chair.

• Obtain a non-attendee form.

 All caucuses will be on Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m.


Maplewood blood drive

Memorial Blood Center is hosting a blood drive from 8 to 11 a.m. Feb. 26 at St. John’s Hospital – HealthEast, 1575 Beam Ave. in Maplewood. To register, go to www.mbc.org or contact the sponsoring organization directly. While walk-in donors are always welcome, appointments are encouraged be made in advance.
